Dr Eileen Diskin is an entrepreneurial specialist.

Eileen started her career as a wilderness guide in the Alaskan wilderness, and became a conservation naturalist with the Missouri Department of Conservation before working as a field archaeologist.

Her PhD at Trinity College Dublin studied antibiotic resistant bacteria, investigating resistance in wild Greater Flamingos across Europe. (Hear her explain her work here).

Eileen founded, an initiative whose pilot project was a set of biodiversity beermats that featured in pubs across Dublin.
