Colman Farrell is an occasional lecturer at The Innovation Academy.

He co-founded the School for Social Entrepreneurs, and Suas, the educational charity. He was Vice Chair of Dochas (the association of Irish NGOs).

From 2004 to 2012 he was CEO of Suas. Previously he was Development Manager at Enterprise Ireland, before which he a software development manager leading a team at General Electric Global exchange Services. Previously he was an IT manager at Procter & Gamble. Between 1994 and 1996 he worked with the charity GOAL in Nairobi, Zaire, and Rwanda.

Colman started his career as an intern at St. James’ Hospital. He studied medicine at Trinity College Dublin, from where he also has a masters in multimedia.
