This piece, originally published in EM, The Newspaper for ESB August / September 2018 talks about our collaboration with the ESB:

The INNOVATIONACADEMY@ESB programme reached its conclusion in June 2018, with a meeting at the DCU Alpha Innovation Centre where the participants were joined for their closing project presentations by a wider group of people from across the ESB.

The event kicked off with welcomes from Ciaran Doran (Business Transformation Manager G&WM) and Fergal Brophy (Programme Director, UCD Innovation Academy). Then there were a series of pitches by the participants on the customer-focused solutions which they have developed. The event finished with some feedback for the teams from Colm Moriarty (X_Site Incubation Manager) as well as words of thanks to everyone involved from Teresa Fallon (Innovation Manager, Electric Ireland) and Jim Dollard (Executive Director, Generation and Trading). Check out the Hub for the individual team pitch videos.
