ERASMUS INTENSIVE PROGRAMME
Funded by the EU as part of the Education and Culture DG Lifelong Learning Programme.

Creative Thinking & Innovation.

June 10th to 28th inclusive – held on Belfield Campus.

This special project, a partnership between UCD, TTK University of Applied Sciences (Estonia), JAMK University of Applied Sciences (Finland) and the University of Ulster, brings together undergraduate students from all 4 Universities to do a special summer programme exploring the areas of creativity and innovation.

Borne from the work going on in all partner institutions in the areas of creativity, innovation and entrepreneurship, this special course aims to provide the students with an introduction to the key concepts of creative thinking and innovation, multi-disciplinary and multi-nationality team work to explore these new concepts, design thinking, team theory and a specially constructed 2 week team industry project.

The course aims to build strong pan-european networks of students who are interested in the areas of creativity, innovation and entrepreneurship and hopefully learn about other cultures and ways of thinking that will grow fruitful partnerships beyond their academic studies.

There are places for 9 students from each institution with recruitment happening in each local country.

Students from UCD will receive a special bursary to attend the module, which is worth 10ECTS (grade neutral). To apply to the course in UCD please email Frances Mitchell, expressing you reasons for applying and why you should get a place on the course. Remember the subject matter of the course when applying! Deadline Friday 12th April – please put ‘ERASMUS’ in the title of your email.
